• When updating Primary Contact on Constituent - Prompt to Update Donor Record as well

    When updating the primary contact on a constituent record, it would be great if there could be a prompt asking if you'd like to update the organizational donor record's primary contact too.  Then a workflow in the background that updates this information if you select yes.

  • Donor Portal Connection - Access Options

    Add a "Documentation Required" field as an optional access option with Donor Portal Access (GOfund) connection that allows us to turn on or off required documentation, specifically for Agency funds.

  • GOsuite email address field

    We have come across many people within our system that have multiple email addresses - and likely want to use one email address for their GOfund login and one for mailings or a standard/generic email address (think info@/grants@) for their connection to GOfund.  This can cause issues in deciding whether to create multiple contact records, asking the people to use an unique email to them rather than the 'standard' email they'd like to use or choosing one email address over the other.

    My thought was (and I don't know all of the background processing/coding, so don't know if this is even possible)...
    Create a field that is "GOsuite email address".  This email address then could be used for GOfund, GOapply, GOdonate, etc. and any future GO product that is made, but then we can still have an 'email address' field that is utilized for mailings, emailing from the system, etc.  The two fields could be the same email address or they could be different. depending on the contact, and ultimately if it's not someone who is super connected to the foundation the GOsuite email address could be blank too.
  • GOfund - Recommend a Grant - Amount Field - Product Suggestion

    As far as we have seen/experienced, the amount field does not allow commas to be placed in the amount field on the recommend a grant page. 
    I was wondering if additional language could be added to the disclaimer underneath the amount field to say something like: Do not include a comma in your number. 
    So the full disclaimer would read: Distributions must be a minimum of <dollar amount>.  Do not include a comma in your number.

    I did actually see the product update notes, prior to this post so that wasn't what I was looking for.  I guess I maybe misunderstood when they were talking during the product update because I thought there was going to be a whitepaper about the updates to the alternate address.  Mainly I guess I am trying to figure out what changed.  I don't want to blindly change the workflow without knowing what logic was updated and what the process for the new workflow will be - so looking for a bit more information on what will change if we do utilize this new workflow.

  • Gift Payment Changes - Date Acknowledged

    Not certain if this is just helpful for our system or if other people miss it, but with the recent product update to the Gift Payments entity the 'Date Acknowledged' field was removed.  It is still accessible via the gifts entity, but we utilize date acknowledged as when we sent the tax receipt and the tax receipt view has to be via the gift payments entity so you can get the fund information from it.  Today when I had to enter the date acknowledged I had to click into every single gift entry that we sent a receipt for.  I used to be able to select a group and do one edit.  I'd appreciate this field added back in.  If no one else feels the same, then we'll work to just add it to our system - just thought I'd mention it here first in case others are missing this field too.  :)

    I'd love if there was a way to pin timeline activities/notes - that way the most urgent/important ones that need to be seen by all staff are automatically at the top of the list.

    Additional suggestion for the Spouse Connections...

    The information in the fields auto-populate when you create the connection, but when you deactivate the connection you have to go through all of the fields and delete all of the information.  Can this be automated to clear if a spouse/partner connection is deactivated?
