akoyaGO
- Enhancements
- Users can now add handling notes to Contact and Constituent records. A handling note is any pertinent information that you would want other users to see upon opening the record. The handling note will display as a banner on the record itself and related records such as Requests.
- GOverify CRA (Canada) – When an organization is Sanctioned, the Constituent’s tax status will be blank to make clear that further investigation is needed in order to grant to the organization. Additionally, a new field called Sanction has been added to the GOverify record to capture sanction status.
- The fields Bank Account and Routing Number have been removed from the akoyaGO CRM Constituent form as it is not recommended to store banking info in akoyaGO CRM. Data that was present in these fields will still be available in the Constituent Table in PowerApps. If you wish to continue using these fields, you can re-add them to the form.
- We have deprecated the College GPA field on Request and replaced it with a new one. The old field was an integer field, which did not account for decimals.
- A new system view has been added to the Request Payments table called Outstanding Payments that includes all active payments where the Payment Status is not Paid.
- We have added four system views on the Email Template table. They include akoyaGO Email Templates, GOapply Email Templates, GOfund Email Templates and GOdonate Email Templates. The product in each view pertains to the product in which the email template is utilized.
akoyaGO with Accounting
- Bug Fixes
- Donor Management
- We have fixed a bug in which the Total Giving This Year calculated field was including gifts from the previous year – resulting in Total Giving This Year and Total Giving Last Year calculating the same value.
- We have fixed a bug in which Function was required to adjust a gift payment even though Function is not a required field on the Gift Payment form.
- We have fixed the Payment Status field label on Gift Payments to no longer include the word ‘Folio’. ‘Folio’ was a holdover from now obsolete functionality.
- Donor Management
- Enhancements
- General (affects all workspaces)
- Users can now add handling notes to Contact, Constituent and Donor records. A handling note is any pertinent information that you would want other users to see upon opening the record. The handling note will display as a banner on the record itself and related records such as Requests, Gifts or payments. More information will be available in related knowledge articles.

Additionally, a new field called Sanction has been added to the GOverify record to capture sanction status.
- The fields Bank Account and Routing Number have been removed from the akoyaGO CRM Constituent form as it is not recommended to store banking info in akoyaGO CRM. - We have added four system views on the Email Template table. They include akoyaGO Email Templates, GOapply Email Templates, GOfund Email Templates and GOdonate Email Templates. The product in each view pertains to the product in which the email template is utilized.
- Grants Management
- The Approve/Deny Request button has been updated to include Approve – Full, Approve – Recommended, Approve – Partial, Approve – Requested Scholarship, and Deny. More information will be available in the Creating and Processing a Request Payment knowledge article.
- We have updated the Next Payment Date rollup field on request payments to take into account the Est. Grant Pay Date and payments with a status of Received so that when a new payment is sent to accounting (Payment Status of Received) with a Est. Grant Pay Date in the future, that is considered in the Next Payment Due field.
- We have deprecated the College GPA field on Request and replaced it with a new one. The old field was an integer field, which did not account for decimals.
- Upon approval of a Pending Request, the Est. Grant Pay Date field will now default to the Posting Date of the payment for that request.
- Donor Management
- We have added a new Donor Opportunities dashboard that includes Donor/Prospect by Opportunity Type and Stage, Potential Gifts, Active Donor Opportunities, Won vs. Canceled Donor Opportunities, Donor Opportunities where the Target Closed Date has passed, and Active Donor Opportunities with Overdue Follow up.
- We have updated the logic under which Constituents and Contacts receive the Donor flag. Donor will be set to ‘yes’ once the Total Commitment for the Donor is more than $0, rather than relying on payment status of gift payments from the donor.
- General (affects all workspaces)
Business Central
- Bug Fixes
- We have fixed a bug in which the ‘exclude if 0’ column on fund statements wasn’t taking into account if it was a comparison report, causing total to be inaccurate.
- We have fixed a bug in which users were unable to refund a deposited gift payment that was previously adjusted.
- We have fixed a bug where users who selected the Trial Balance Per Global Dimension Report from the report menu were shown the incorrect report prompt.
- Enhancements
- Foundation staff can now track preferred payment methods (Payment Method Code) for Vendors that will then sync back to the CRM Constituent record (Organization Details tab).
- Admin and Team Users will no longer be able to edit the lines in Payment Journals except for the following fields: Posting Date, Bank Payment Type, Document No., and Recipient Bank Account.
- Undoing a deposit in Business Central will now immediately revert the Payment Status on the Gift Payment to Received, rather than waiting for sync to run.
- When voiding a non-check ledger payment (a payment posted without any Bank Payment Type assigned), the Payment Status in CRM will now update to "Received".
- The Undeposited Funds process no longer requires that the undeposited funds GL account is assigned to all bank account posting groups. This is now controlled by the setting on Accounting Settings called "Undeposited Funds Account".
GOapply
- GOapply Reviewer bug fixes:
- We have added validation so that no more than one reviewer can be assigned as the Lead Reviewer of a Review Group.
- We have fixed a bug in which the Duplicate Review Group button was not available in akoyaGO without accounting sites.
- Enhancements
- We have replaced the deprecated field "Most Recent Submit Date" with the new field "Most Recent Submission Date/Time" in the Submitted view for GOapply Status Tracking records. If this system view had previously been customized in your environment this change will not automatically apply and should be done manually by an administrator.
- We have renamed the system views on the Add GOapply Users table to remove all instances of "Review Bulk Import" now that that table is for more than just importing reviewers.
- Due Date in the In Progress view in GOapply will display the Phase Due Date unless the Override Phase Due Date contains data in the status tracking record, in that case, the override date will show.
- Form Editor/Phase Builder: we have removed ‘Navigate to url’ and ‘Navigate to url on condition’ from question properties as we do not support navigating to a new url after the GOapply user submits a phase.
- We have removed all instances of ‘application’ in the GOapply workspace and replaced it with ‘opportunity’.
- We have added a banner to GOapply that will appear when foundation staff are impersonation a GOapply User. This banner serves as a reminder that you should log out before impersonating another user, else you risk data integrity on the Status Tracking record.
- ‘Role’ is now a required field in the Add GOapply Users table to prevent user log in errors. When a role is not assigned, the user cannot log in.
- GOapply Reviewer enhancements:
- Reviewers will now be able to see the score that they gave to each application on the Review Group page. For more information, see the GOapply Reviewer Admin Guide.
- We have updated the email template that is sent to users created via the Add GOapply Users table. The email no longer references Reviewers or Review Groups as this tool was previously only for importing reviewers.
- GOapply Reviewer new features:
- Add all Pending Requests to Review Group – A new button has been added to Review Group called Add Pending Requests. This button searches for GOapply Status Trackings where the status is Submitted, the Opportunity and Phase match those assigned to the Review Group, and the Request Status is Pending or In Review then adds Review Group Application records for each Request that matches the criteria. For Scholarships, a new lookup field has been added to Review Groups for Scholarship. In the case that this field contains data, the tool will look for Requested Scholarship records for the assigned scholarship where the Status Reason is ‘Opted-in’ in addition to the above criteria.
- New Features
- GOapply Organization Profile Change Requests – GOapply Administrators now can approve or reject proposed organization profile changes from applicants. This is an opt-in feature controlled by a GOapply Setting.
GOfund
- Enhancements
- GOfund Administrators can now enable/disable dedications in GOfund. This feature will be enabled by default. To disable, go to your GOfund settings. See the GOfund Admin Guide for more information.
- New Features
- Funding Opportunities, an existing table in akoyaGO, can now be displayed in GOfund. A knowledge article will be created for this feature.
- GOfund Shopping Cart: GOfund users can now add multiple grant recommendations to a cart and ‘check out’ just once. A knowledge article will be created for this feature.
GOdonate
- Bug Fixes
- We have fixed a bug in which Funds where GOdonate Enabled = Null were appearing on GOdonate sites. Funds with GOdonate Enabled = Null will be treated as if GOdonate Enabled = No.
- We have fixed a bug in which duplicate contacts were being created for newly registered GOdonate users if the user already existed in the CRM prior to them registering.
- Enhancements
- The donation confirmation email to the donor will no longer be created on create of the GOdonate Transaction record. The email will be created and sent once the status of the transaction is ‘succeeded’. This is because donors were receiving confirmation emails for donations that were not actually successfully processed by Stripe.
