Disabling Copilot AI
This knowledge article outlines the steps to change Microsoft Copilot features from available by default to available to no one within your akoyaGO environment.
Navigating the Power Platform Admin Center
1. Type the following web address into your browser: admin.powerplatform.microsoft.com. You may be prompted to log in with your Microsoft credentials.
2. Click on Environments.
3. Select the correct environment which will be Production, not Default.
4. Click on Settings in the top ribbon.
5. Click on Product to expand the collapsed group.
6. Click on Features.
7. Click on Enable new AI-powered Copilot features for people who make apps. In addition, enable the AI prompts feature. This will likely be set to On by default. Toggle this to Off.
8. Click the drop-down for Allow user to analyze data using AI-powered chat experience in canvas and model-driven apps to expand the list of options.
9. Select Off for this option set.
10. Click on Enable the usage of AI Builder model types that are in preview. This will likely be set to On by default. Toggle this to Off.
11. Click on Allow canvas editors to insert the Copilot answer component, which allows users to receive an AI-powered answer to a predefined data query. This will likely be set to On by default. Toggle this to Off.
12. Under the AI form fill assistance section, select the dropdown arrow to open the option set for Enable this feature for.
13. Click on No one.
14. Click Save.
