DUPLICATING APPLICATIONS
Introduction
Duplicating applications is easy with the Duplicate Application workflow. This workflow will duplicate the application and all its phases, pages, fields, and entity and field-level mappings. This workflow is handy for organizations that give the same grants or scholarships year after year. After duplicating the application, you can make any edits or changes like you would for a new application.
Activate the Workflow
Before you can use the workflow, you will need to activate it. Alternatively, you can contact our Support Team and they will assist you with this process.
1. Go to make.powerapps.com, choose your environment. Your organization’s name in the upper right hand corner of the page will bring down options-- You do NOT want the "(Default)" environment selected.
Click on Solutions.
2. Select the Default Solution.
3. Click on Cloud Flows.
4. Find Duplicate Application, click the ellipses next to the name, and Turn On.
You will see a notification telling you that Turn on succeeded.
5. Turn on the Flows named GOapply Autofill Form Definition and GOapply Autofill Next Phase in the same way you turned on the Duplicate Application Flow.
Run the workflow
The workflow can be found in the Applications entity of the GOapply App. You can run the workflow from the Applications list or from inside an individual Application.
1. From the list, select the Application, drop down Flow, and choose Duplicate Application. From inside the Application, drop down Flow and choose Duplicate Application.
2. Next, you will be prompted to name the duplicated application. Type the new name and click Run flow.
You’ll see a success message when the flow has been started. Click Done. The Flow will run in the background.
After the application has been duplicated, it will appear in your list of Active Applications.
Open the Application and make any necessary changes. For example, you may want to update the Fiscal Year field.
