disabling colorS on all fields

With the May 2023 Release, we introduced a feature that allows clients to color-code option sets within fields/columns. This feature can be disabled throughout the system, if preferred. Instructions for this process are outlined in this guide.

(Important: Disabling this feature will prevent future updates to the corresponding entity. Ex. Disabling the color choices on Contact fields will prevent future updates to the Contact entity)

navigating to customizations

From your akoyaGO CRM, click the gear icon in the upper right corner, and select Advanced Settings.

From the drop-down of options, select “Customizations.”

Once you click on “Customize the System,” a new window will appear. Here you will need to click on the small arrow next to “Entities.”

changing control settings

Scroll down to the entity you want to remove color options from. In this example, the Contact entity is being selected.

(Make sure to click on the entity name, not any of the options available from the drop-down of the entity name.)

Once the entity settings loads, click on the “Controls” tab.

**Important: You will notice that there are two Control options listed. Do NOT make changes to the “Read-only Grid,” or click the X at the end of “Power Apps grid control.”

Next:

  • Click on “Power Apps grid control”

  • Scroll down on the control options to find the “Enable OptionSet colors” setting

  • Click the pencil icon to edit

To disable, change the drop-down option to “No.” Click OK.

After you have disabled the “OptionSet Color” on the entity/entities chosen, you will need to Save, then Publish the setting changes.

Once akoyaGO has been “hard-refreshed” in the browser twice, the changes should be visible.
