What are Impact Investments?

Impact Investments allow foundations to provide funds to organizations with the expectation of repayment, similar to a loan rather than a grant.  Impact Investments is a dedicated entity in akoyaGO CRM for tracking loans and repayments.

  Impact Investment

Navigate to the Impact Investments entity in the left-hand navigation bar of akoyaGO CRM.  This entity is designed for foundations that provide loans instead of grants, allowing you to track both disbursements and repayments.
 

Click +New in the top toolbar.  The form includes three main sections:

Investment Details: Lookup fields for Primary Constituent, Primary Contact, and Program.
Investment Structure: Define terms such as interest rate, repayment schedule, and conditions.
Documents: Add supporting documents such as agreements, receipts, plans, etc.
Timeline: Track disbursement and repayment events.
 

  REPAYMENT

Under the Payments Tab, create repayment record(s):

Set Tasks and Reminders for upcoming repayment dates.
